The State of Tennessee is planning for a brand-new state park with a visitor center and a new campground on a 137-acre plot of land in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Prior to any new development, hydrologic determinations must be completed to account for all Waters of the State present and assure that any work associated with new construction does not violate the Clean Water Act.
Our environmental scientists performed desktop reviews of historical data and on-site investigations of the project area. All wetlands, streams, and wet weather conveyances were mapped and reported to TDEC for concurrence allowing for the development of the land while minimizing the environmental impact to the surrounding natural resources.
