Fall Creek Falls State Park Campground C Renovations

Problem

Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of Tennessee’s largest and most visited state parks because of its beautiful cascades, gorges, and waterfalls. The park features over 200 campsites across five different camping areas and during their latest upgrade, the park staff wanted to focus on providing quality facilities rather than increasing the number of campsites available. The existing original campsites were undersized for the common RV used in the current recreational community.

Solution

CTI provided full engineering services for the renovation of an existing campground. The renovation involved creating a new layout for larger campsites with new living spaces, furnishings, and utilities. A new water main, electrical panels and feeder lines, and a sewer collection system were part of the new layout. The creation of a new asphalt loop road with improved turning circles and direction of traffic flow and a new concrete modular bathhouse were also provided.
