The recent record-breaking drought has brought water management and planning to the forefront of the drinking water industry. The Sewanee Utility District (SUD) is among many utilities in the Southeast struggling to meet water demand. Economical Water Treatment Plant Project Part of Utility Master Plan

Hallsdale-Powell Utility District serves over 22,000 water customers in Knox, Anderson, and Union Counties. In 1999, the utility district hired CTI to develop a computer hydraulic model of its water distribution system and to create a Utility Master Plan of the entire system, including the identification of needed water treatment, storage, and distribution system infrastructure.
