Throughout its history, CTI Engineers, Inc., has shown steady, planned growth and stability, despite the various economic variations over that time. The company's history is also notable for the longevity of and loyalty to its employees, in addition to its clients.

  • 1991

    CTI Engineers, Inc., is founded in Chattanooga, Tenn., with a team of 10 engineers and five support staff. Of the original 15, four would retire from CTI while another six are still with the company. Gary Cosby is named the company's first president.

  • 1995

    CTI opens its first branch office in Green, Ohio.

  • 1996

    CTI's second branch office opens up in Nashville, Tenn.

  • 2000

    The company's third branch office opens, this time in Dalton, Ga.

  • 2002

    The company's steady growth continues with the fourth branch office opening up in Knoxville, Tenn.

  • 2006

    Having outgrown its initial space, CTI Engineers, Inc., purchases a building in downtown Chattanooga that remains home to the company's corporate headquarters and Chattanooga branch office.

  • 2006

    As a result of the company's growth in Ohio, the Green location splits into two branches in Akron and Canton.

  • 2018

    CTI Engineers, Inc., undergoes the first leadership transition in the company's history, with Richard Reed being named as the second president in company history, succeeding Gary Cosby.

  • Today

    CTI Engineers, Inc., now employs more than 50 people, including 44 full-time engineers and support staff. Among the full-time staff, the average length of employment with CTI Engineers is 16 years.
